The main difference between containers and VMs is in their framework orientation and interoperability. Given the landscape of automation, the entire software community is moving towards developer operations (DevOps) culture. Debian as a leading free software operating system play a major role in this automation process. This BoF will focus on how such landscape is improving the software production with the help of GitLab CI/CD, Container Runtime Interface like Docker, and container orchestrators like Kubernetes.
